Rachel McCumber is a Texas raised and Chicago based writer. McCumber is a 2020 graduate of Columbia College-Chicago, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a focus in Nonfiction. During her time at Columbia, three of her personal essays were published by the literary magazine "Punctuate." Since graduating Rachel has written for various publications and is currently with ROUTE Magazine. When she is not writing short stories, articles, and music reviews, she enjoys crying on her kitchen floor and making obnoxiously-titled Spotify playlists like “the girlies are getting existential” and “is everyone having a good time??!”
