maybe this blog will stick

Hey, y'all! I'm Rachel (she/her) and I'm a writer based out of Chicago. I have a degree in Creative Writing and I'm currently unemployed, so naturally, I'm starting a blog. But this isn't a lifestyle blog or any type of blog where I tell people what to do because I am young and kinda dumb.

So what I've decided to do here is combine my love of making playlists and my love of writing. With each blog I'll link one of my Spotify playlists and write a little something about the playlist-- whether it's explaining the mood or meaning of the playlist, reviewing songs/artists on it, or just talking about the music and the way it's been affecting me.

The two loves of my life are writing and music, so this is kind of a two birds one stone situation.
